Job Description
The Call Center Specialist plays a vital role in delivering consistent, quality customer service to both internal colleagues and external patients. This role involves actively managing each call by taking ownership, enhancing the customer experience, and building lasting relationships. Responsibilities include:
- Listening to patient requests and responding appropriately
- Scheduling appointments and transmitting messages electronically to the clinical team
- Answering queries regarding medication refills
The ideal candidate will exemplify excellent customer service with a focus on efficiency and quality. Key skills include proficient data entry, knowledge of insurance billing, and maintaining confidentiality, alongside a commitment to continuous improvement and performing other duties as assigned.
💼 Compensation & Hours
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Position: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Schedule: Hours may include evenings and weekends
- Training: Mandatory, full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm Eastern Time for the first 3 weeks
- Work Hours: In Eastern Standard Time
🎓 Qualifications
Required Skills and Education:
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (Required)
- Associate's Degree
- Experience in a Call Center or busy phone environment
- Electronic appointment scheduling experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills (a plus)
- Remote candidates must reside and work within the United States (Territories excluded)
- Reliable, high-speed internet access
This role is available for remote work.
