Role Overview 🎯
The Bilingual Card Services Customer Service Associate is key in assisting customers with inquiries related to fraud, lost or stolen cards, travel notifications, credit card payments, and debit/ATM disputes. Using excellent customer service and multitasking skills, you'll ensure our clients have a seamless experience. Patience and understanding are essential to resolving bank account, debit, or credit card-related issues.
Collaboration & Schedule 🗓️
- Work with teams such as Customer Service, Treasury Management, Security, Default Management, and Branches
- Availability for a rotating schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays
- Potential for a hybrid schedule with supervisor approval after training
Education & Experience Requirements 🎓
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- At least one year of customer service experience involving external customers
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication skills required)
- Knowledge of Credit Card products and services (preferred)
- Branch banking experience, including general ledger balancing or researching out-of-balance conditions (a plus)

- Diplomatically handle emotionally charged calls
- Effective oral and written communication with customers and employees
- Team player with a positive attitude towards ongoing change
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn bank products, services, and fees
Key Responsibilities ✅
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding ATM, debit, and credit card transactions
- Report lost/stolen cards and checks, document disputes, and handle fraud reporting
- Assist with travel notifications, debit card limit increases, and credit card payments
- Support branch and department teams with back-office functions
- Open new business credit cards for corporate clients
- Stay informed about operational policies, REG E, REG Z, and ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
