Key Responsibilities

Business Meeting Interpretation

• Provide Korean-English interpretation during virtual or in-person meetings, client discussions, sales calls, and stakeholder conversations.
• Support simultaneous or consecutive interpretation depending on the format and project needs.
• Accurately convey meaning, tone, intent, and business context within time constraints.
• Maintain high standards of professional communication in sales, partnership, technology, and client-facing discussions.

Written Translation & Follow-Up Support

• Translate meeting materials, chat messages, key points, summaries, follow-up notes, and other business communications.
• Ensure translated content is accurate, culturally appropriate, and maintains a professional business tone.
• Review terminology, meeting context, and discussion objectives prior to interpretation sessions.
• Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, clients, partners, and external stakeholders.

Cultural, Professional & Confidential Communication

• Apply cultural sensitivity and sound business judgment during bilingual communication.
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in all tasks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand terminology, background, and meeting goals.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and strong professional judgment across all submitted work.

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience as a Korean-English interpreter or translator in corporate, sales, client-facing, or business environments.
• Native-level fluency in Korean and English with excellent oral and written skills.
• Deep understanding of business terminology, sales language, partnerships, and technology discussions.
• Ability to interpret accurately and swiftly during live conversations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders and client teams.
• High professionalism, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.

Educational Background

• A degree or experience in translation, interpretation, Korean or English language, business, communications, international relations, linguistics, or related fields is beneficial.
