This role offers the opportunity to drive initial outreach efforts, engage with enterprise and mid-market prospects, and contribute to innovative software development solutions worldwide. 🚀

🌍 An Overview of This Role

This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and/or Netherlands.

As a BDR at GitLab, you will:

  • Lead outbound prospecting initiatives targeting enterprise and mid-market accounts.
  • Collaborate with Field and Digital Marketing teams, as well as Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Leverage creative sales tactics to engage multiple buyer personas and roles.
  • Generate qualified meetings and build pipeline for GitLab's sales organization.

🎯 Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound outreach to generate qualified meetings and pipeline within your assigned territory.
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations with target accounts to understand their needs, qualify opportunities, and create Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
  • Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly SAO targets by converting prospects into opportunities.
  • Research and prioritize target accounts using industry knowledge to identify key players and develop tailored outreach strategies.
  • Implement multi-touch outreach (call, email, social media) using Outreach.io to maximize engagement.
  • Manage and report activities and pipeline accurately in Salesforce to ensure transparency and forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to build target lists, campaigns, and attend regional events to generate leads.
  • Document and improve BDR processes within the GitLab handbook and mentor new team members for quick onboarding.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Previous experience in tech sales, marketing, or development (a plus)
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication
