About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team, focusing on the Italian market. As a key player, you'll drive Dataiku's business development activities across Italy, understanding and promoting the adoption of our sales development process and technology stack. We value results-driven, proactive self-starters eager to optimize performance continuously.
Location: This role can be based in our Milan office or within our Mediterranean hubs in Madrid or Paris.
🔥 How You'll Make An Impact
- Manage Leads: Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound leads within Italy, qualifying prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Strategic Campaigns: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to design, research, and execute outbound campaigns targeting specific verticals and regions to grow our sales pipeline in Italy.
- Enterprise Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives to prospect and close large enterprise deals within Italy's equivalent of Fortune 500 companies.
- Nurture Prospects: Educate and engage early-stage prospects to nurture potential future opportunities.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Dataiku’s value proposition, engaging with data and business leaders across industries such as Manufacturing, Banking, Fashion/Retail, and Energy in Italy.
- Optimization: Analyze your weekly activities and report on performance, identifying opportunities for ongoing improvements across the Southern EMEA market.
🎯 What You'll Need To Succeed
- Language Mastery: Native-level fluency in Italian (verbal and written) is essential.
- Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is highly preferred, offering a competitive edge for collaboration within South EMEA teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Experience: Proven success in sales or business development within the software/tech industry or a high-growth startup.
- Organizational Skills: Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Data-Driven: Analytical mindset with an understanding of tracking and reporting outreach efforts.
- Curiosity: Deep interest in innovative topics such as Data Science, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI.
