Eastman Kodak is seeking a dynamic Brand Licensing – Business Development Manager to join our innovative Brand Licensing team within the Corporate Marketing Organization. This role focuses on expanding our brand licensing business by identifying new partners and driving revenue growth across the Americas region. 🌎

🔍 About the Role

This is a fully remote position offering a competitive base salary plus commission, with no direct reports involved. As an individual contributor, you'll play a crucial role in shaping Kodak's brand licensing strategy and presence in key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic goals for Brand Licensing and the broader Corporate Marketing Organization.
  • Partner Acquisition: Identify, contact, and onboard potential brand licensees offering sales, distribution, marketing, and product development expertise aligned with Kodak's portfolio.
  • Deal Closure: Lead negotiations and prepare deal memos to finalize licensing agreements in collaboration with legal, finance, and licensing management teams.
  • Representation: Represent Kodak at trade shows and industry events to foster relationships and promote brand licensing initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on consumer electronics and consumer product trends, analyzing market conditions to recommend strategic sales opportunities.
  • Brand Evangelism: Champion the Kodak brand by seeking innovative licensing opportunities to ensure long-term growth and brand value maximization.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required; MBA highly desirable.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Industry Experience: 5-10 years in sales within the consumer products industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. and LATAM ecommerce channels and brand development strategies in these regions.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of the consumer products and brand licensing landscape.
  • Influencing Skills: Ability to influence without direct authority and collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, creative, and finance.
  • Self-Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Business Development: Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and closing deals successfully.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working across management levels internally and externally.
  • Time Management: Effective organizational skills to handle evolving business needs.
