About the Role

The Business Development Manager will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with trading and operations teams to forge and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders. This role involves proactive research, due diligence, strategy refinement, integration driving, and establishing key commercial partnerships.

Responsibilities

• 🤝 Build and nurture relationships with ecosystem stakeholders (partners, builders, developers, exchanges) to accelerate growth
• 🔍 Discuss the firm’s buy-side and sell-side operations with external parties to enhance understanding
• 🌐 Identify new collaboration opportunities with existing or potential partners
• 🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategy, Corporate Development, Product, Engineering, Legal) on business development initiatives
• 📝 Conduct due diligence on new business prospects, partnerships, and venture investments
• 📊 Contribute to quarterly research reports on industry trends, market dynamics, or relevant topics
• ⚙️ Continuously optimize the firm’s business development strategies and processes
• ✈️ Travel frequently domestically and internationally

Who You Are

• 🔸 3+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management
• 🔸 1-2 years of experience in the crypto industry or demonstrated understanding and interest in the space (DeFi experience is a strong plus)
• 🔸 1+ years in a research role within financial services is a plus
• 🔸 Familiar with market book liquidity and market-making activities
• 🔸 Passionate about the CeFi and DeFi sectors with an analytical mindset towards market trends
• 🔸 Fast learner and adept at adopting new technologies
• 🔸 Highly responsible, proactive, and committed to task completion
• 🔸 Fluent in English and Mandarin. Knowledge of Korean or Spanish is a plus
• 🔸 Able to work onsite in NYC five days a week (when not traveling)

Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 – $150,000 💵
