We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead to manage our Business Development Division, promote growth, and drive our international marketing efforts, especially within the anime and manga industry.

Position Summary

33 USA Inc. is a comprehensive marketing agency focusing on the entertainment sector, particularly anime and manga, providing solutions to promote clients’ works globally. Our Business Development Division oversees account management, project management, marketing planning, and sales, working in collaboration with internal teams and external partners to help clients reach their business objectives.

The Lead will manage the team, steer strategic decisions, and foster organizational growth through ongoing self-improvement and skill development, aiming for promotion to Manager.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

🔹 Essential Job Functions

Sales 📈

• Identify potential new clients and develop tailored approaches
• Create and implement sales strategies for North America and other international markets
• Negotiate contracts to secure new business deals
• Engage actively with clients, including hosting events, to strengthen relationships
• Attend meetings and events outside regular hours on short notice when needed

Account Management 🤝

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in North America
• Develop new project opportunities and manage project budgets to ensure profitability
• Regularly evaluate and report on project performance
• Handle billing and payments seamlessly to facilitate smooth operations

Project Management 📝

• Develop project plans aligned with client needs, coordinating with various teams
• Organize internal and external teams for project execution
• Present project strategies and manage project progression, resolving issues promptly
• Oversee quality, risk, and communication to ensure client satisfaction
• Leverage internal and external resources for integrated marketing solutions

Marketing Planning 📊

• Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic planning
• Design and execute marketing initiatives tailored to client objectives
• Manage budgets, track ROI, and optimize marketing efforts

Other Responsibilities 🌐

• Support advertising and creative services as needed
• Collaborate with external partners to deliver client solutions
• Work closely with leadership and other divisions to meet company goals

Education & Experience Requirements 🎓

Required:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (business level or higher)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Minimum 3 years of marketing industry experience
• At least 1 year of team management and leadership experience
• Exceptional project management and leadership capabilities
• Deep understanding of Japanese and North American cultures and business practices
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related fields (MBA preferred)
• Knowledge and passion for the entertainment industry
