Overview

Join a dynamic, full-time, direct-hire W2 role with competitive compensation, full benefits, and uncapped commissions, targeting small- and medium-sized businesses outside of enterprise clients. This is an outside sales position focused on building lasting relationships, generating new business, and driving growth in your assigned territory.

Position Details

  • Type: Permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 role
  • Compensation: Base salary + full benefits + uncapped commission (including a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months) + residuals
  • Location: Field (outside) B2B sales & business development

Role Responsibilities

Business Development (Business Consultant / B2B Sales Representative) 🚀

  • Product: Sell Clover, an industry-leading cloud-based POS platform used by over 700,000 merchants, facilitating card, mobile wallet, and contactless payments, along with business management features such as inventory, reporting, and loyalty programs.
  • Territory Management: Manage a region with multiple branches from established partner banks, fostering relationships with business bankers to generate referrals and close deals while self-sourcing new opportunities to augment partner pipelines.
  • Sales Activities: Conduct on-site product demonstrations and presentations to show how Clover can optimize client operations and revenue, closing sales in person.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership: From prospecting and lead self-sourcing to closing deals and managing the full sales cycle, with accountability for territory performance and quota achievement.
  • Relationship Building: Develop long-term client and partner relationships, proactively address challenges, and deliver solutions to ensure growth and customer retention.

Ideal Candidate Profile 🎯

  • Proven outside sales experience with a track record of hitting quota, working leads, building pipelines, closing deals, and hunting for new business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect effectively with clients and partners.
  • Previous experience as a Business Banker, Commercial Relationship Banker, or Commercial Relationship Manager (SMB clients) is a good fit.
