Position: Business Development Associate (Bilingual Mandarin/English)
- Department: BD
- Reports to: VP, BD
- Location: Malvern, PA, USA

- Position Type: Full Time
- Travel Requirements: 2 times per year
- Working Hours: 40 hours/week, M-F 9-5, on-site in Malvern, PA (with optional communication with China 2-3 nights/week for less than 1 hour; flexibility given)

🔹 Job Description
Sales Support & Order Handling
- Serve as a primary contact for customer communication regarding orders and inquiries, ensuring prompt follow-up.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely quotations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Sales, Production, QC/QA, Logistics, and Finance teams to meet quality and delivery timelines.
- Manage domestic and international shipments, including customs clearance.
- Address product or delivery issues through team collaboration and communicate corrective actions to clients.
- Update and maintain CRM records and generate sales and operational reports regularly.
- Support operational activities such as sample coordination, testing, and process improvements.
- Assist warehouse operations, including inventory reconciliation.
- Contribute to trade show preparations and post-event follow-up activities.
🔹 Cross-Border Operations & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between U.S. and China teams to facilitate effective communication and aligned priorities.
- Coordinate workflows across teams to prevent delays in inventory and order processing.
- Share updates on new product availability, pricing, MOQs, and lead times.
- Gather and manage required documentation for customer support, regulatory compliance, and audit purposes.
- Handle technical inquiries related to methods, specifications, and stability between clients and manufacturing teams.
🔹 Requirements & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mandarin.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with technical documentation such as COAs, SDSs, and GMP compliance is preferred.
- Knowledge of global shipping processes and regulatory documentation is a plus.
- 0–3 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or account management; B2B experience preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both oral and written.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, thrives in fast-paced environments.
🔧 Tools & Technology
- Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- CRM software experience is a plus.
🏢 Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Stationary position with occasional movement, equipment operation, and reaching items.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication and information exchange capabilities.
