Role Overview
As a Spectrum B2B Outside Sales Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to prospect and sell Spectrum’s services door-to-door within your designated territory. This is a proactive, hunter-style sales role that involves managing leads from initial contact through to closing, with a focus on exceeding sales targets.

What Our Small Business Account Executives Enjoy Most
- Achieving sales targets by generating leads and prospecting within your territory, managing from initial contact to sale closure.
- Establishing a strong foothold within your local market, staying informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings.
- Utilizing a consultative approach to understand clients’ needs, and recommending tailored products/services that address their business challenges.
- Selling additional services such as custom hosting, desktop security, data security, storage solutions, and more.
- Collaborating with an Account Coordinator for support and smoothly transitioning customer service inquiries to dedicated teams, so you focus on sales.
- Maintaining accurate, real-time records of all sales activities and prospect interactions using Salesforce.

Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years in the telecom/technical industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Effective management of sales and administrative tasks with strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to apply knowledge and work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Driven, professional, and determined character.
- Valid state driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outside sales within telecom, tech, or related industries.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
