About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will connect small and medium-sized businesses with vital communication solutions, such as Internet, video, and voice services. Your efforts will help expand our customer base within a dedicated territory, delivering impactful services that empower local organizations to thrive.
🌟 How You’ll Make an Impact
- Generate and cultivate sales leads using diverse prospecting tactics, guiding each lead from initial contact to closing the sale
- Drive new customer acquisition by promoting and selling bundled services—including Internet, video, and voice—within your assigned territory
- Implement and execute a Territory Plan under the guidance of the Sales Manager to strategically grow Spectrum Business’s customer base
- Utilize order management software to process sales efficiently and collaborate with Account Coordinators to resolve administrative needs
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities using Salesforce.com and other tools to maximize territory potential
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge and strong selling skills, continually learning and practicing new techniques to enhance your performance
- Attend sales meetings and consistently meet or exceed performance standards defined by Spectrum Business’s Sales Model

🔧 What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Skills: Knowledge of communications technologies and services, emphasizing telephone and Internet fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications
- Skills: Bilingual fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Experience: 3+ years of outside sales experience in high transaction, short closing cycle models
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Physical Requirements
- Vision ability including close vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment

Compensation & Benefits
The base pay typically ranges from $47,800 to $94,900. Final offers consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. Additionally, this role includes a commission earnings target starting at $54,000.
