Contract Details
- Contract Period: 1 year
- Pay: $28~31/hr (Staff) / $31.50~33/hr (Senior Staff)
- Work Hours: 08:30am – 05:30pm (subject to change)
- Language Requirement: Korean bilingual required
Job Description
- 🌐 Responsible for settlement activities related to the freight forwarding business.
- 🤝 Reinforce relationships with customers and carriers through effective and continuous communication.
- 📝 Prepare regular settlement status reports for management, customers, carriers, and headquarters.
- ⚙️ Improve settlement processes by developing automated solutions to reduce manual work.
- 💰 Process customer billing accurately and on time according to company policies for each division.
- 🗃️ Manage, analyze, and prepare correction forms for billing adjustments in Access database.
- 📄 Review essential freight documentation that supports charges invoiced and payment requirements.
- 💼 Apply accounting knowledge & work experience to understand how billing impacts P&L.
- 🔍 Audit carrier freight bills, interpret tariffs, and review contracts.
- 🖥️ Collaborate with internal technologies necessary for daily operations.
- ⚠️ Investigate potential errors and duplicate carrier billing issues.
- 📊 Perform ad-hoc reports as needed.
- 🛠️ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 🇰🇷 Korean bilingual skills are essential.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, invoicing, customer service, or transportation/logistics.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Ability to quickly assess situations and make decisions to resolve issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, across various organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Word.
- Advanced Excel skills, especially v-lookups and pivot tables.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
