Janitorial Warehouse Site Supervisor

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekends
• Shifts Available: Multiple shifts
• Starting Pay: $15 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Manage financial budgets, labor planning, and cost optimization
• Team Supervision: Provide direct supervision of janitorial personnel
• Training & Development: Ensure proper training for all staff in their respective roles
• Performance Management: Measure performance, give feedback, and develop staff; prioritize employee safety and incident reporting
• Operational Coordination: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve issues promptly
• Shift Coverage: Maintain staffing for all three shifts by coordinating with shift leads and confirming schedules
• Policy Compliance: Enforce company policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Safety & Machinery: Implement safety programs including forklift and machinery training
• Inventory Management: Oversee chemicals and supplies inventory, ensuring safety protocols and proper PPE use

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Certifications:
  • 10 Hour OSHA general industry certification
  • OSHA forklift/scissor lift operator certification
• Experience:
  • Supervisory and leadership experience in distribution, janitorial, or building maintenance roles (minimum 4 years)
  • Experience in janitorial operations strongly preferred
• Skills: Effective communication with customers and team members, understanding human resources processes, including staffing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations
