Job Details

  • Location: Chicago preferred, Remote OK with prior Hyatt experience (United States, Mexico, or Canada)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, 1-Year Contract
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week

Must Have ✅

  • Proven experience training and facilitating adult learners
  • Experience onboarding or training people managers, leaders, or executives
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) 🗣️🇪🇸
  • Hands-on experience with Saba learning management software
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and facilitation best practices
  • Experience delivering virtual, instructor-led training 💻
  • Hospitality industry experience, with Hyatt experience strongly preferred 🏨
  • Experience onboarding hotel leadership, franchise owners, or senior managers
  • Certified Facilitator or similar credential (a plus) 🎓

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Trainer / Facilitator (Spanish & English) with a solid background in adult learning and leadership onboarding. This role focuses on supporting the onboarding of Hyatt hotel General Managers and Franchise Managers. You will deliver impactful virtual learning experiences, ensuring a seamless transition into Hyatt systems, standards, and operational expectations.

Individuals with hospitality experience, especially Hyatt brand familiarity, are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities 🚀

  • Facilitate virtual instructor-led training sessions for adult learners, focusing on hotel General Managers and Franchise Managers
  • Lead structured onboarding programs for new Hyatt leadership, clarifying brand standards, operations, and expectations
  • Deliver training in both Spanish and English as needed
  • Utilize Saba LMS to manage training sessions, assignments, and track completion
  • Adapt facilitation style to engage experienced leaders and adult learners effectively
  • Create a professional, interactive learning environment promoting discussion and knowledge sharing
  • Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve onboarding content and delivery methods
  • Monitor participation and completion metrics, providing reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications 📋

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability to work full time (40 hours/week) for a 1-year contract
