Therapeutic Services Provider 🌟
Join our team as a Therapeutic Services Provider and play a vital role in delivering evidence-based therapeutic care within outpatient programming, supporting clients of all ages, with a focus on bilingual Spanish communication.
Position Overview
Under both administrative and clinical supervision, you will provide valuable therapeutic services within our outpatient program. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required to effectively serve our diverse community.
🎯 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer short-term evidence-based therapy: Deliver treatment to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and groups.
- Client assessment: Evaluate clients’ needs, interpret psychiatric/behavioral health conditions, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans as part of comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.
- Team collaboration: Actively participate in treatment team meetings and supervision sessions.
- Multidisciplinary coordination: Work with psychiatric team members (MDs/APRNs) and other clinicians to ensure high-quality client service.
- Care level recommendation: Assess each client to determine appropriate care levels and connect families with external services when necessary.
- Individualized planning: Create and modify service plans using data from standardized assessments.
- Community engagement: Collaborate with community providers, agencies, and schools to support treatment, assessment, and discharge planning.
- Resource guidance: Serve as an informational resource regarding community services for families.
- Documentation & compliance: Maintain all case documentation per New Jersey and CCS Outpatient Standards, entering clinical notes and collateral information into the EMR system on the same day.
- Billing & scheduling: Submit accurate daily service billing and ensure sessions start and end as scheduled.
- Family involvement: Promote engagement and participation, utilizing evidence-based family therapy practices.
- Quality assurance: Perform chart audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Performance targets: Meet productivity and performance expectations.
- Additional duties: Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support program operations.
✨ Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Extensive clinical experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral health challenges.
- Current and verifiable New Jersey State license in good standing (LSW, LAC, or LMFT).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership skills preferred, including experience facilitating individual or group discussions, active listening, and fostering collaborative interactions.
🩺 Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate orally with clients, colleagues, and management effectively.
- Regular use of telephone and email for communication purposes.
- Normal hearing and vision are essential for effective communication and document review.
- No heavy lifting expected; occasional exertion up to 10 lbs. of force may be needed.
- Proficiency with office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
