Square Is Hiring A Bilingual Territory Account Executive, South Central

About the Role

As a Territory Account Executive, you will engage with restaurants, retailers, and service-based businesses within your local market to drive growth and build lasting relationships. This is a hunter and field-based sales position where you will develop strategies to increase market share, demonstrate Square’s ecosystem, and foster community presence. 🤝

What You'll Do

  • Sell face-to-face approximately 80% of the time, conducting discovery, demos, and closing deals with prospective sellers.
  • Build relationships with active Square sellers in your community, monitoring account health, referring, and partnering with account management and support teams.
  • Partner with onboarding teams to ensure seamless implementation and success for new sellers.
  • Create a robust top-of-funnel pipeline through direct outreach (50-60 drop-ins weekly), referrals, strategic partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Develop hands-on skills in demoing and onboarding Square hardware and software solutions.
  • Collaborate with channel sales to identify and cultivate referral partners in your market.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of business and technology needs in primary verticals such as restaurants, retail, and services.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs, leveraging Salesforce to track activities and outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Fluent in Spanish & English.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle sales experience, preferably including field sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in payment processing or related technologies (payroll, loyalty, time management).
  • 1+ years of experience working with or selling to restaurants, retail, or service businesses.
  • Proven success in surpassing sales targets and closing complex deals across diverse product ecosystems.
  • Strong ability to independently drive deals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in business development, cold calling, and hunting for new clients.
  • Reliable transportation and residence within the target market.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
  • Collaborative spirit and team player mentality.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or similar CRM knowledge.
  • Familiarity with restaurant, retail, or service operations is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation varies by location, categorized into four zones:

  • Zone A: USD $148,700 to USD $223,100
  • Zone B: USD $138,300 to USD $207,500
  • Zone C: USD $130,900 to USD $196,300
  • Zone D: USD $123,400 to USD $185,200
