Your Contribution
LCCU is looking for a Bilingual Teller who is eager to learn and evolve within our organization. The Teller I role involves delivering high-quality front-line service to our members, handling transactional duties, maintaining accurate records, and providing payment services aligned with credit union policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Transactions:
- Perform transactions such as cash and check deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately.
- Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and record transactions.
- Process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments, ensuring balances match and generating receipts.
- Stay informed on policies, procedures, rules, and regulations relevant to teller operations.

Member Service:
- Create a positive member experience through courteous, professional, and efficient service.
- Greet and assist members, applying LCCU's service model concepts consistently.
- Be knowledgeable about credit union products and services, promoting them effectively.
- Offer solutions tailored to member needs and resolve issues proactively.

Administration:
- Maintain organized work and teller stations.
- Perform accurate cash balancing procedures at intervals and end of shifts.
- Participate in community events and support branch mobility as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; six months of work experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong ability to count and handle cash, calculate figures, discounts, and interest.
- Skill in building relationships and delivering quality member service, with problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to promote credit union offerings and organizational values.
- Organizational skills to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email; tech-savvy with computer software.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
