Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of bilingual employees, offering guidance, support, and coaching as needed
• Monitor and track production targets, ensuring they are met or exceeded
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations 🦺
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to develop and implement process improvements
• Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable and proficient in their roles
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking employees to clarify expectations and goals
• Handle employee relations issues professionally and promptly
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent production interruptions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 7 years experience in Ship Repair processes and procedures
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong understanding of Ship Repair processes and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
