About the Role

As a Store Associate, you will work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly, staying current with product features, and ensuring the high quality and visual standards of our store are maintained. Your dedication to excellent service will help us meet and exceed our sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities 📝

  • Engage with customers to determine their needs and provide product recommendations
  • Process sales transactions accurately in accordance with policies
  • Build trustful relationships with both wholesale and retail customers
  • Meet and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
  • Maintain organized work order files and appropriate inventory levels
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tint/mix products per specifications
  • Stock shelves, set up displays, and keep the store clean and inviting
  • Assist with load/unload operations and deliveries when needed
  • Ensure stock levels are appropriate and the store area remains presentable
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss options with customers
  • Follow inventory control procedures and suggest sales improvement ideas

Minimum Requirements ✅

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legal authorization to work without sponsorship in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish — reading, writing, and speaking
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service roles
  • Previous experience with selling paint and related products
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
