Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students within school environments. Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans

📝 Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and functionality levels
  • Ability to conduct speech assessments in Spanish 🗣️
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct speech therapy aligned with IEP goals
  • Complete and update IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
  • Consult with teachers and families to support communication skill generalization
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
  • Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

🔍 What We're Looking For

Must Have:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • Live Scan background check (DOJ/FBI) and TB clearance
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Bilingual in Spanish 📝

Preferred:

  • One year of experience in speech therapy
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience managing school-based caseloads
