Primary Purpose 🏫

The Regional Scholar Recruiter embodies Uplift’s values in the community, engaging prospective families and leading new student recruitment within their designated region. This role involves cultivating community relationships, raising awareness of Uplift schools, and clearly communicating our unique benefits tailored to families' needs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 🎯

• Strategic Outreach: Develop region-specific strategies to meet application goals and enhance visibility among prospective families.
• Community Representation: Serve as Uplift’s ambassador, showcasing its value and persuading families to apply.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain community partnerships that benefit both Uplift and local organizations, measuring impact and adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Event Planning & Management: Identify, plan, and execute events; manage budgets; analyze event success to inform future initiatives.
• Innovation & Opportunity: Explore new recruitment opportunities, driving scholar applications with an innovative mindset.
• Tracking & Evaluation: Monitor efforts against application targets, ensuring leads and applications are accurately recorded in CRM systems.
• Additional Activities: Support other recruitment efforts, including phone outreach and regional event assistance.
• Professional Growth: Embrace coaching, participate in team trainings, and share best practices with colleagues.

Education, Experience & Certifications 🎓

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Experience: 2+ years in sales or recruiting is highly desirable. Previous education experience and Uplift alumni status are a plus.
• Certifications: Not applicable.

Required Skills & Abilities 💬

• Communication & Sales: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to understand and address customer needs with ethical, consultative, and persuasive approaches.
• Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Uplift Knowledge: Deep understanding of Uplift’s value proposition; alumni familiarity is a plus.
• Technological Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems for reporting sales data and performance metrics.

Physical Demands 🏋️‍♂️

This role requires regular sitting, and occasional standing and walking. You may need to lift or move up to 25 pounds and operate carts as necessary. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to support individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment 🌦️

Our hybrid work setup involves remote work with travel across Dallas/Ft Worth and surrounding areas (mileage reimbursed). Events may take place outdoors or indoors under varying weather conditions.

Compensation 💰

Starting Salary: $55,000
