Description
We are seeking a dedicated Program Aide to support our independent living program for seniors age 55 and older. This role involves a variety of administrative and programmatic duties to ensure smooth operations and engage residents through activities and resources.
🔑 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Visitor & Participant Reception: Welcome visitors and program participants at the office.
- Resource Management: Maintain a resource tracker in collaboration with Tenant Service Coordinators and the Assistant Program Director.
- Inquiry & Referral: Answer questions, take messages, and provide external referrals as needed.
- Scheduling Support: Assist in coordinating appointments with Tenant Service Coordinator and Residential Services Manager.
- Community Engagement: Organize age-appropriate activities such as game nights, movie nights, and birthday celebrations.
- Marketing Creation: Develop flyers, brochures, and posters alongside the Program Director.
- Supply Management: Order and track supplies and equipment, communicating with IT, Fiscal, and Operations teams.
- Security & Access: Maintain “unseen list” using key fob, security desk, and front desk trackers.
- Visits & Deliveries: Accompany case managers on visits, retrieve checks, MetroCards, and parcels.
- Translation Services: Provide translation when necessary.
- Additional Tasks: Support other administrative duties as assigned by the Program Director.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish): Required
- Team Player: Willing to work with diverse populations.
- Experience: Working with homeless populations or seniors preferred.
- Workshop Facilitation: Experience creating or leading groups or workshops.
- Flexible Hours: Willing to work weekends and evenings as needed.
- Communication & Advocacy: Excellent skills to support residents.
- Independence & Collaboration: Able to work solo and in teams.
- Problem Solving & Relationship Building: Entrepreneurial mindset necessary.

🎓 Education & Experience
- High School Diploma: Required
- Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred
