Beacon Hill is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Personal Injury Paralegal to join a law firm's litigation team for a temporary leave coverage. The role involves managing core PI cases and supporting litigation processes in a dynamic, paperless environment while communicating frequently with Spanish-speaking clients. 🚀

About the Role

Our law firm client needs an experienced paralegal to support during a 3-6 month leave, with potential extension. This onsite position is based in Encino, CA, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. The compensation ranges from $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience.

Core Personal Injury (PI) Responsibilities 📝

• Client communication: Engaging with clients in both Spanish and English
• Adjuster contact: Managing case status updates and follow-ups
• Case management: Opening and maintaining PI cases within the case management system
• Medical records: Requesting, tracking, and organizing medical bills and documents
• Client documentation: Collecting client info, signatures, and relevant documents
• Damages tracking: Organizing records, photos, and evidence of damages
• Correspondence: Preparing template letters, forms, and standard communication
• File management: Keeping electronic files organized in a paperless system

Paralegal-Level Litigation Support Responsibilities ⚖️

• Discovery assistance: Organizing sets, aiding responses, managing productions
• Drafting: Shell discovery responses, motions, notices, and demand letters
• Court filings: E-filing, formatting pleadings, exhibits, and proofs of service
• Independent work: Managing litigation timelines, deadlines, and tasks autonomously

Required Qualifications ✅

• Fluent in Spanish: Written and verbal proficiency
• Personal Injury experience: Required
• PI paralegal experience: Strongly preferred
• Capacity: Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced litigation tasks
• Skills: Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills
• Technology: Proficiency with case management systems and paperless workflows

Work Environment 🌐

• Onsite work in Encino is strongly preferred
• Limited hybrid options may be available for exceptional candidates who can regularly be in the office
