Job Opportunity: Spanish-speaking Investigator

Join a growing subsidiary of a well-known household brand, expanding its legal team with a bilingual investigator. This role offers exposure to impactful investigations and provides a vibrant work environment with plenty of growth potential.

Role Overview

Reporting to a senior investigator and the AGC/director of litigation, the investigator will:

  • Collaborate with HR and legal departments to conduct investigations related to employee relations, including harassment and discrimination cases.
  • Review complaints and associated documents such as HR files, email correspondence, texts, and employment records.
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses across various time zones—occasional flexibility with working odd hours is required.
  • Identify trends within complaints and assist in managing files.
  • Draft professional reports detailing incidents and findings.

Note: This role does not involve interpreting statutes or recommending disciplinary actions.

Preferred Software Skills

Experience with EthicsPoint by Navex is a significant plus. Familiarity will boost your effectiveness in this role.

Qualifications & Profile

  • Fluency in Spanish with excellent interview skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in investigations, legal, or HR roles.
  • Strong understanding of investigation processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional, concise, and courteous communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Experience conducting interviews effectively.

Additional considerations: Candidates located in Southern California or within the Pacific Time Zone are preferred. Candidates planning law school within the next three years are not eligible.

Work Details & Compensation

  • Hours: Flexible scheduling with an 8-hour workday accommodating east and west coast hours.
  • Pay: Commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
