Job Title: Nielsen Field Membership Representative
As a Nielsen Field Membership Representative, you will be the face of our company, recruiting households to participate in Nielsen ratings. This role involves travel up to 50% of the time, requiring strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to connect with diverse communities across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to residential homes: Using a company-provided vehicle, with frequent travel (up to 50%), to conduct in-person interviews and recruit households.
- Engage with households: Collect and input household demographics and technical data accurately.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with different departments to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
- Achieve targets: Meet performance goals related to recruitment, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Overnight stays: Be prepared for overnight travel up to half of your working time.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- High School Diploma/GED or 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Strong computer skills (iOS, MS Windows, Google applications)
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Fluent in Spanish and able to read/write English
- Willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
- Willing and able to travel overnight up to 50% of the time
- Adaptability to diverse environments and interactions:
- Comfortable engaging with different neighborhoods, homes, and conditions for extended periods
- Handling varied situations, pets, cleanliness, and safety standards while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse social settings
Physical Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Navigating stairs, elevators, walkways, driveways, and home entry points
- Driving up to 8 hours daily
- Standing for up to 6 hours daily
- Kneeling for up to 2 hours daily
- Walking at least ½ mile
- Lifting up to 20 lbs
