Position Overview
We are currently looking for a passionate Social Media Intern to support our marketing and communications efforts. In this role, you'll produce high-quality visual content during firm events, helping showcase our professionalism, client focus, and community involvement. Based in Morris Plains, New Jersey, this is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals eager for hands-on experience in corporate content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- 📸 Capture professional photography and videography during Consultation Day events and related activities.
- 🎥 Record client testimonials in compliance with firm guidelines and with client consent.
- Create short-form digital content tailored for social media platforms.
- 🔴 Provide technical support for live streaming during events as needed.
- Edit photos and videos for digital publication using editing software.
- 🗣️ Interact confidently on camera, representing our firm’s brand, culture, and values.
- 🌐 Participate in on-camera segments during social media live streams and event coverage.
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Audiovisual Production, Communications, Media, or related fields.
- Fluent in Spanish (essential for engaging with our diverse client base).
- Available to work on weekends.
- Familiar with editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Portfolio showcasing previous photography or videography work (a plus).
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Preferred Competencies
- Interest in corporate communications and community storytelling.
- Ability to operate effectively in live event settings.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Schedule & Compensation
- Event-based role, focusing on Consultation Day (2 Saturdays per month).
- Typical schedule: Saturdays, approximately X hours per event.
- Compensation: $16 per hour.
- Location: Morris Plains, NJ.
