Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a warehouse staff of 6 and 3 shipping coordinators, setting daily priorities and performance expectations. 👩‍💼👨‍💼
• Shipping Oversight: Oversee end-to-end shipping operations, including UPS, LTL, and FTL shipments.
• Order Accuracy: Verify products, quantities, skid counts, and documentation to ensure order precision prior to shipment.
• Documentation Preparation: Collaborate with Shipping Coordinators to prepare BOLs, labels, packing lists, and all required shipping paperwork.
• Loading & Unloading: Direct safe and efficient loading/unloading using forklifts and reach trucks.
• Receiving & Inventory: Oversee receiving processes, organize inventory, and ensure stock accuracy to support efficient picking and control.
• Returns Management: Manage returned goods from receipt through disposition (restock or scrap) and credit memo processing.
• Warehouse Standards: Maintain organization, safety, packaging quality, and damage prevention standards across the warehouse. 🛡️📦

Operational & Administrative Leadership

• Equipment Maintenance: Keep maintenance schedules for forklifts and batteries up-to-date.
• Certification & Training: Ensure forklift certifications and training records are current in coordination with HR.
• Supply Management: Track warehouse supplies and coordinate replenishments with the Purchasing team.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance, and organize proper filing systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in warehouse and shipping operations.
• Industry Background: Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient with shipping systems, data entry, and BOL documentation.
• Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Forklift Operation: Valid forklift experience is mandatory. 🚜
