Key Responsibilities 📝

Educational & Enrollment Support 🎓

• Guide qualified individuals in applying for health coverage through NY State of Health, including Qualified Health Plans (QHPs), Medicaid, and Child Health Plus.
• Assist consumers with contacting NY State of Health Customer Service and verifying required documents.
• Raise awareness about available QHPs through public education activities and presentations.
• Explain eligibility criteria, federal health insurance premium tax credits, cost-sharing mechanisms, and metal tier benefits.
• Support consumers in submitting documents, premium payments, and recertification processes.

Regulatory & Compliance 🚦

• Protect confidential information to prevent unauthorized access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate service to diverse populations.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all business interactions.

Operational & Data Management ⚙️

• Track daily activities and outcomes meticulously.
• Monitor application statuses and follow up on potential leads through the MetroPlusHealth "Marketplus" platform.
• Accurately input demographic and enrollment data into the required systems.
• Ensure compliance with conflict-of-interest standards.
• Perform additional tasks to meet role expectations, including working evenings and weekends as required.

Minimum Qualifications ✅

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least three (3) years of sales experience.
• Experience in public speaking.

Licensure & Certification 📜

• Complete and pass NY State of Health approved training and certification programs.
• Maintain annual recertification as a Managed Facilitated Enroller (MFE).
