About The Sales Team

The Sales team at Thumbtack directly influences the company's growth by acquiring high-quality, high-capacity professionals to deliver exceptional service to our customers. Our approach enhances product understanding, fosters pro retention, and yields a higher ROI compared to self-serve signups. We’re expanding and looking for motivated leaders to help scale our sales organization.

About The Role

As a Bilingual Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Spanish-speaking sales representatives, guiding outbound efforts to onboard high-capacity businesses on Thumbtack. Your role is vital in driving team growth by extracting insights from sales conversations, experimenting with new data sources and processes, and increasing the quality and quantity of pros on our platform—all while driving revenue for Thumbtack.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain team morale by setting and achieving goals, coaching team members, and optimizing sales processes.
  • Train and mentor current team members and new hires in sales strategies, scripting, and processes, all within a remote work environment.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Enablement to enhance workflow, efficiency, and identify training needs for Account Executives.
  • Become an expert on Thumbtack’s product, articulating its value for business professionals.
  • Manage performance and documentation of daily sales activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Address sales issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Solution-based selling experience, aligning client needs with product solutions.
  • An attitude of collaboration to share techniques and success strategies with the team.
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools, preferably Salesforce.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience and 2-3 years of sales management experience.

Expected Salary Ranges

  • San Francisco / Bay Area, San Jose, New York City, Seattle: $110,500 - $143,000
  • Austin, TX, Washington DC, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington State: $99,500 - $128,700
  • All other US locations: $93,900 - $121,600

Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as job level, qualifications, and experience.
