Maximus is seeking bilingual Russian Customer Service Representatives to join our New York State of Health (NYSOH) team. This fully remote role requires residency within 100 miles of New York, NY, and offers comprehensive training and excellent benefits.

📝 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and those assisting enrollees, adhering to all policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Respond effectively to inbound and outbound contacts and document all inquiries properly.
  • Process health care coverage applications over the phone—building tax households, assessing income, determining eligibility, interpreting Marketplace decisions, and enrolling in health plans. Redirect consumers as necessary.
  • Handle life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods.
  • Facilitate caller requests for materials through mail, email, or download.
  • Provide translation services for non-English speakers following established procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate staff for resolution.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current with programs and systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy standards when responding to inquiries.
  • Meet Quality Assurance (QA) metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Follow safety standards and perform tasks in an office setting, including occasional lifting of items up to 25 pounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

🎯 Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, with at least 6 months of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in English and Russian fluently, with the ability to read, speak, and translate effectively.
  • Residency within 100 miles of New York, NY.
  • Strong data entry, telephone, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Team player capable of working independently.
  • Previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets is preferred.
  • Customer service background is a plus.

🏡 Home Office Requirements

  • Internet speed of 20 Mbps or higher (verify at speedtest.net).
  • Connection to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet (Category 5 or 6).
  • Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US.
