Position Overview

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Sponsorship opportunities, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT, are not available for this role now or in the future.

Position Purpose

The Field Retention Representative is responsible for retaining current members within an assigned territory, primarily working within Manhattan, NY. The role involves conducting outreach through phone calls, community events, provider and office visits, and home visits to both new and existing members. The representative must effectively communicate Fidelis Care's products and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations. 📞🏥

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Resolution: Research, analyze, and document inquiries about program eligibility.
  • Customer Support: Answer questions about applications and services to maintain and attract membership.
  • Outreach & Education: Conduct follow-up calls, educate members about Fidelis products, and serve as a liaison across departments.
  • Quality Standards: Meet and exceed QA metrics.
  • Training & Proficiency: Complete rigorous internal training, master sales processes, Fidelis products, and regional market knowledge. Achieve a minimum of 85% on assessments, with no more than 2 attempts.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct assessments to identify member needs, answer product and provider questions confidently.
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain ongoing relationships with members, providing guidance and support throughout the year.
  • Problem Solving: Overcome objections, identify solutions, and address concerns effectively.
  • Data & System Management: Record interactions in systems like Salesforce and Facets, update member information, and track activities.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform routine administrative functions and assist with training and higher-level duties as needed.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in healthcare, customer service, or sales preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license may be required; multilingual skills (Spanish, French, Wolof) strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $23.23 - $39.61. Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
