Job Summary 📝
As a Recruiter for our light industrial distribution center client, you will be responsible for developing and executing staffing strategies to build a skilled and motivated workforce. Your role is vital to the successful ongoing operations of our distribution center, involving effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives. This position demands a proactive, hands-on approach and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do ⭐

Staffing Strategy Development
Collaborate with senior leadership to craft staffing plans aligned with operational goals, identifying hiring volumes, skill requirements, and timelines.

Recruitment and Sourcing
Lead efforts to attract top talent for roles such as warehouse associates, forklift operators, supervisors, and administrative staff. Design sourcing strategies tailored to local labor market trends.

Onboarding and Training
Coordinate onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel. Facilitate training on safety, equipment, and company policies.

Compliance and Risk Management
Maintain compliance with employment laws, OSHA standards, and safety guidelines. Develop policies to mitigate staffing-related risks.

Employee Engagement and Retention
Create initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular check-ins to gather feedback, address concerns, and recognize achievements.

Implement performance systems to evaluate employees, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth. Collaborate with supervisors to identify training needs.
Who We're Looking For ⭐
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
- Experience in staffing, recruitment, or HR management, preferably within the distribution or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of light industrial staffing best practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

This role is based at our new light industrial distribution center, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and manage the workforce. The environment may include exposure to warehouse conditions such as noise, dust, and temperature variations.
