Bilingual (Spanish) - Quality & Food Safety Manager

Join our team as a seasoned Quality & Food Safety Manager to lead the development of a best-in-class food safety program within our client's bakery manufacturing operation. Ensure regulatory compliance, foster a strong food safety culture, and drive continuous improvement!

🌟 Key Responsibilities

• Lead food safety and quality programs to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and GFSI standards.
• Manage third-party audits, inspections, corrective actions, and food safety certifications.
• Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and sanitation oversight.
• Train and develop employees on food safety and quality standards.
• Maintain food safety documentation and regulatory compliance records.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to support quality initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement using LEAN and 5S methodologies.
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of food safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of food safety/quality leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SQF, PCQI, Food Defense, and GFSI standards
• Experience leading audits and managing regulatory compliance programs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• LEAN/5S experience (preferred)
• Bakery manufacturing experience (a plus)
