📝 About the Role

As a Purchasing Agent, you will report to the buyer(s) and be responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, processing purchase orders, and verifying deliveries. Your critical assessment of suppliers and negotiations will contribute to securing the best deals, while maintaining meticulous transaction records.

🔥 Responsibilities

  • Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services 🔍
  • Select the most suitable suppliers based on reliability, quality, and cost-efficiency ✅
  • Monitor inventory levels and determine purchase needs 📊
  • Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts & prices 💼
  • Prepare and process purchase orders 📝
  • Maintain records of transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments 📁
  • Schedule and verify purchase deliveries 🚚
  • Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations 🤝

🎯 Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English 🗣️
  • High school diploma or GED required 🎓
  • Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred 🎓
  • Previous experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar role 💼
  • Proficiency in inventory management software 🖥️
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 🗨️
  • Strong organization and documentation skills 📑
  • Strong research and analytical skills 🔍
  • Work onsite at Muller Technology CO, Inc., with at least 40 hours per week ⏰
