Current Opportunity: Bilingual (EN/FR) Proofreader - Chicago, IL 🌎

Join our dynamic team with a hybrid work schedule, working in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour (local currency)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Central Time

Key Responsibilities 📜

• Review client press releases for grammatical, spelling, and consistency errors (fact-checking not included).
• Format press releases to closely match the original versions and adhere to industry standards.
• Support clients by handling inquiries via phone and email.
• Assist with regulatory filings such as SEDAR and EDGAR.
• Manage client accounts, including email lists, user profiles, and multimedia libraries.
• Collaborate with teammates and across departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Leverage knowledge of other Notified products to assist clients effectively.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing administrative support and press release services.
• Occasionally work overtime during busy periods, including weekends, holidays, and remote shifts outside your usual schedule.

Qualifications & Skills 🎯

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; equivalent work experience acceptable.

Experience

• 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in newswire or media-related roles.
• Customer service experience in fast-paced environments.
• Fluency in both English and French.
