🔍 Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery, and aligning program goals with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple projects and coordinating results to achieve broad program goals.
- Planning and implementing schedules, monitoring programs from inception through delivery.
- Defining and reporting on program roadmaps, statuses, development issues, and success metrics.
- Identifying and monitoring risks, seeking continuous improvements in cost, performance, and schedules.
- Building and managing project budgets.
- Facilitating communication and coordination among projects and stakeholders.
- Managing stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
- Maintaining awareness of industry trends, business conditions, and internal processes affecting projects or programs.
🔥 Must-Have Requirements
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical decisions/issues to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven risk management skills to identify, propose strategies, and proactively implement mitigation actions.
- Experience preparing project plans from high-level to detailed technical levels, estimating milestones, activities, and resource roles.
- Technical background (e.g., system engineer, IT operations).
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience managing infrastructure projects (Disaster Recovery, obsolescence, hardening, security, monitoring).
- Strong organizational skills: documenting, logging, and tracking actions and issues.
- Experience working within an ITIL-based environment (change management, incident management, service management).
- PMP trained/certified.
✨ Pluses
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Experience managing project portfolios or programs is a plus.
- Software project management experience, understanding SDLC and product lifecycle, is advantageous.
