Bilingual Project Manager

Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST hours)

Client Location: Charlotte, NC

Language Requirement: Must be bilingual in business Japanese and English

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Project Manager to coordinate and manage all aspects of product or service delivery projects for our client, from inception to final implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise, be adept at stakeholder communication, and possess the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. This role focuses on achieving customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects classified as standard or complex, ensuring successful delivery from concept to completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring satisfaction, managing escalations, and maintaining high service levels.
• Oversee project delivery, including scope control, risk management, and change management processes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet established goals.
• Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, including regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Provide pre-sales support by collaborating with sales teams to scope and cost projects or programs, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams by delegating tasks, assigning resources, and managing program activities.
• Document risks, issues, and lessons learned, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (required).
• ITIL certification (preferred).

Experience

• Moderate-level project management experience, preferably in a multinational professional services environment.
• Proven experience with client engagement, managing expectations, and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Demonstrated understanding of the project lifecycle, including change management and risk management.
• Experience balancing business needs with financial constraints while meeting client objectives.
