Job Purpose

The Latina Liaison for Sales Force Recognition is responsible for facilitating Spanish-language calls and communications with our sales force. This role involves developing long- and short-term strategies for recognition programs, managing contests, forecasting budgets, analyzing results, and supporting various recognition initiatives such as Incentive Trips, Event Recognition, and Gifting programs. 🎁

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Spanish-language communication: Ensuring effective support for our Latinx sales force, especially during events.
  • Strategic planning: Develop tactical plans for recognition programs, utilizing rewards and incentives to distinguish different levels of the sales force.
  • Manage awards and merchandise sourcing: Provide direction to buyers, review and approve merchandise, and present options to management.
  • Budget oversight: Establish and monitor budgets for all recognition initiatives, analyzing effectiveness and making improvements.
  • Monitor and forecast program winners: Track winners, analyze results, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate across teams: Interface with the sales force and various departments to gather feedback, address issues, and enhance programs.
  • Develop program content and collateral: Create themes, rules, and promotional materials aligned with recognition objectives.
  • Support promotional efforts: Lead development of support materials, including posters, sheets, and communication strategies.
  • Global program analysis: Evaluate recognition strategies with a focus on Canadian partners to ensure programs are impactful and emotionally resonant.
  • Represent the department: Attend special events and determine necessary recognition and communication materials.

This role requires on-site work at a Mary Kay facility. 🏢

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field 🎓
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in project management and/or marketing 📈
  • Language skills: Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) 🗣️✍️
  • Industry knowledge: Understanding of the direct sales industry and what motivates sales force members is highly preferred.
  • Creative abilities: Develop and implement recognition campaigns, prizes, and promotional items that motivate and excite the sales force.
  • Organization and attention to detail: Coordinate multiple projects effectively.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities to convey recognition programs clearly.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PC applications.
  • Travel requirements: Domestic travel approximately 30% of the time ✈️
  • Physical stamina: Ability to lift, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
