Who We Are

OCBH is a non-profit membership association whose members hold Oregon’s state letter of certificate and operate as behavioral health provider organizations. Our mission is to:

  • Promote, develop, and maintain the highest quality community programs and services for behavioral health treatment.
  • Foster recovery for Oregonians with substance use disorder and/or psychiatric disabilities.

Our members deliver essential behavioral health services, including SUD and mental health treatment, to a diverse population across Oregon. We are a small, collaborative team working as a community of practice and a trade association to promote industry excellence, engaging with high-level leaders and policymakers.

We’re Hiring! 🎯 Project Coordinator

Do you have a passion for behavioral health and proven project management skills? Are you a fluent Spanish speaker with excellent communication abilities? If so, we want to hear from you! Join our growing Behavioral Health team as a Project Coordinator and help coordinate impactful initiatives that serve diverse communities.

Role Overview

As a Project Coordinator, you will be integral in successfully implementing various behavioral health projects, ensuring they stay within budget and on schedule. Your understanding of behavioral health principles and bilingual skills will help us better serve our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-Facilitate Mental Health First Aid trainings 🧠
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources 💼
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk assessments 📅
  • Coordinate communication among project stakeholders (staff, clients, funders) 📞
  • Facilitate meetings, take detailed notes, and prepare action items 📝
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential roadblocks 🚧
  • Prepare reports and presentations on project status and outcomes 📊
  • Assist with grant writing and research activities (as needed) ✍️
  • Translate project materials into Spanish for clear communication with Spanish-speaking clients and staff 🌎
  • Assist with data collection and analysis (as needed) 📈
  • Maintain organized project documentation 🗂️

Position Details

  • Compensation: $30/hour 💵
  • Employment: 12-month contract
  • Reports To: Director of Projects
  • Location: Gladstone, Oregon 📍
  • Start Date: May 2026
  • Work Authorization: United States 🇺🇸

Schedule

  • 9 am – 5 pm, with some evenings (flexible options) ⏰
  • Monday to Friday 📅
  • Monthly in-state travel required, including overnights ✈️

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Project Management, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience 🎓
  • Willing to achieve Mental Health First Aid trainer certification 🏆
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) preferred 🗣️
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines ⏳
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 🔍
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 🤝
  • Professional appearance and demeanor 👔
  • Basic understanding of behavioral health principles (preferred) 💡

Software Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 💻
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom preferred) 📹
  • Strong internet research skills 🌐
  • Gmail and G-Suite familiarity ✉️

Physical Requirements

While performing this role, the employee must:

  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods 🪑
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously ⚙️
  • Complete detailed forms and reports accurately 📝
  • Lift boxes up to 20 lbs 📦
  • Calculate figures and amounts as needed ➕➖
