Position Overview: Bilingual Associate
This role reports to a Director and/or Executive Director - Global Services. Key responsibilities include project management, program implementation, and communication in both English and Arabic.
Core Responsibilities
Research and Analysis 🔍
- Analyze demographics, disease data, and healthcare trends
- Assess local market conditions and competitive landscape
- Review hospital performance metrics, including KPIs
- Evaluate JHI performance on client engagements
Writing 📄
- Draft proposals, project updates, and annual assessments
- Prepare site visit reports and senior executive presentations
Project Management ⚙️
- Evaluate project feasibility considering cost, resources, and timelines
- Establish knowledge transfer schedules
- Coordinate with faculty on program execution
- Ensure timely program delivery and measure outcomes
- Oversee logistics, staff onboarding, and movement
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve deliverables
Relationship Management 🤝
- Build effective relationships with client staff
- Develop internal collaborations with JHM/JHU faculty and staff
- Coordinate with stakeholders across various levels
Additional Responsibilities
The Bilingual Associate will also communicate with non-English speaking patients to ensure clear understanding regarding care coordination. The position may require travel abroad (~30% of the time).
Qualifications & Requirements 🎓
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, International Affairs, or related fields; Master’s preferred
- Language: Successful completion of a JHM-approved language assessment in Arabic
- Certifications: PMP or Six Sigma preferred
- Work Experience: At least 3 years in business, consulting, education, public health, or project management; international experience is a plus
- Clinical, nursing, social work, research administration, or health sector experience beneficial
Compensation & Work Environment 💼
Salary ranges from $31.53 to $52.06 per hour, based on experience and equity. Salary discussions will occur during the interview process. We reserve the right to modify schedules as needed.
