Position Details

Title: Production Planning Associate (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment)

Salary: $60,000 per year

Role Overview

The Production Planning Associate collaborates with the Assistant Manager to manage key accounts, develop forecast models, and coordinate production schedules based on insights from sales, marketing, finance, and other analysts, ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop production schedules to meet finished goods requirements while optimizing capacity, costs, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Operations to plan, develop, and manage forecasts and production schedules aligned with customer demands.
  • Create and monitor manufacturing schedules daily and monthly to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate across departments including sales, customer service, production, procurement, and shipping to maintain capacity utilization and service levels.
  • Track and manage orders to achieve on-time delivery goals.
  • Anticipate and address schedule changes due to equipment failure or resource delays.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure goal alignment and success.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of complex equipment production and system integration
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods, including Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
  • Proficiency in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating problems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine capabilities, and efficiencies
  • Fluent in English & Korean
