Key Responsibilities 🔑

• Ensure safety and quality standards: Meet goals for safety, quality, output, waste reduction, and labor efficiency.
• Performance tracking: Utilize KPIs daily to monitor performance and hold teams accountable.
• Team leadership & development: Train, coach, and support supervisors, leads, and staff, including a bilingual workforce.
• Regulatory compliance: Maintain adherence to GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and all food safety guidelines.
• Equipment management: Monitor machinery and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Operations management: Lead production, batching/compounding, sanitation, maintenance, warehousing, and quality control operations.
• Workforce supervision: Oversee staffing, scheduling, workflow planning, and resource allocation to meet goals.
• Performance metrics: Monitor throughput, yield, downtime, waste, and other KPIs to drive improvement.
• Continuous improvement: Initiate projects aimed at reducing waste and enhancing efficiency and product consistency.
• Cross-team collaboration: Work with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to resolve issues and support product launches.

Required Qualifications ✅

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of leadership in food manufacturing
• Bilingual Spanish/English required
• Proven experience managing production teams in fast-paced settings
• Proficiency in SAP, ERP, inventory management, and production reporting systems
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety regulations
• Ability to manage KPIs such as yield, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building skills
• Capability to lead high-volume production environments
• Hands-on problem-solving skills with a proactive leadership style
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
• Dependable with a solid work ethic and keen attention to detail
