Now Hiring: Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist in Hyattsville, MD

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team in Hyattsville, MD. If you have a passion for patient care and excellent communication skills, explore this exciting opportunity with Labcorp.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required); Saturdays as assigned

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups 🩸
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Accurately enter patient data in a timely manner 💻
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients 😊
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience 📝
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency

Additional Job Standards

• Certification or completed training from an accredited agency can substitute for experience
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test 🎨
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to additional sites as needed 🚗

Additional Opportunities and Compensation

• Potential eligibility for the PST Incentive Plan, offering quarterly performance bonuses 💰
• Pay Range: $17.75 – $26.00 per hour

All offers depend on skills, relevant experience, certifications, internal equity, and market data.
