We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support our dental team under the indirect supervision of a dentist. If you have at least one year of experience and are passionate about making clients smile, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

• Perform oral cavity inspections: Conduct mouth mirror examinations.
• Chart restorations and conditions: Document existing dental work as directed by the dentist.
• Patient preparation: Prepare patients for treatment, seating, positioning, and placing napkins.
• Laboratory tasks: Prepare forms for dentist signatures.
• Maintain dental equipment: Ensure all tools and machines are properly serviced.
• Post-extraction procedures: Place and remove dressings, monitor bleeding.
• Teeth polishing: Polish coronal teeth with rotary handpieces, rubber cups, or brushes.
• Instrument handling: Transfer dental instruments efficiently.
• Apply fluoride varnish: Protect patients' teeth with fluoride treatments.
• Dental material mixing: Prepare various dental materials for procedures.
• X-ray procedures: Take and expose radiographs accurately.
• Oral health education: Provide preventive and oral hygiene instructions.
• Sterilization and disinfection: Follow proper procedures for infection control.
• Pre- and post-operative instructions: Guide patients through their treatment process.
• Impressions: Make accurate dental impressions.
• Band fitting: Assist the dentist in selecting and fitting bands for cementation.
• Safety compliance: Follow OSHA regulations and CDC guidelines.
• Vital signs monitoring: Take oxygen saturations and pulse rates.
• Sealants application: Apply pit and fissure sealants to protect teeth.
• Pediatric assistance: Support the pediatric dentist chairside.
