Responsibilities

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be an essential part of our mission to align stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—toward optimal clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner 😊.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient data, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log payments including co-pays and fees 💰.
• Answer or transfer incoming phone calls efficiently 📞.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments for patients, confirm details, and notify staff of any changes.
• Guide patients on preparatory procedures and safety protocols, providing directions as needed 🗺️.
• Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely care delivery.
• Safeguard patient property and health information in compliance with policies and legal requirements 🔒.
• Secure medications on site per company and legal guidelines.
• Protect company property, including cash and patient financial data, on site and via patient portals 💼.
• Maintain professionalism and be responsive to patient and coworker needs 🤝.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions 🌍.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting ❤️.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills 💻
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service
• At least 1 year of medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience 🏥.
• Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish 🗣️.
