- Work with kids—who make up 70% or more of our patient base—fostering a friendly and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service at check-in and check-out for patients and parents.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits before appointments.
- Greet patients and parents warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
- Keep the waiting area and front desk clean and organized.
- Ensure all patient files are prepared: update records, verify insurance, and confirm service limits.
- Coordinate with Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to facilitate same-day care opportunities.
- Assist in meeting office financial goals by managing the hygiene and operative schedules.
- Schedule follow-up and six-month recall appointments for patients.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, taking messages as needed.
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, reschedule as necessary, and follow up on outstanding treatments.
- Re-file patient records at the end of each day, maintaining data integrity.
- Adhere to all government regulations, company policies, and compliance standards.
- Verify and collect any out-of-pocket balances before treatment begins.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Office experience preferred, especially in dental or medical settings.
- Experience working with children's dentistry is a plus.
