About Us

Latino Builders Show is the premier national event connecting Latino contractors with leading brands, industry leaders, and key opportunities that are transforming the U.S. construction landscape. Our first show is scheduled for September 24, 2026 at the Baltimore Convention Center. We are currently building the team that will make this event a success.

Who We Are Looking For

We need a resourceful, organized, and proactive professional to be the driving force behind our office operations. If you excel at bringing order to chaos, following up persistently, anticipating issues, and pushing projects forward, then this role is perfect for you! 🚀

More than just executing tasks, we're seeking someone who thinks critically, proposes solutions, and takes initiative. This position reports directly to our Director and is vital in ensuring our daily operations run seamlessly.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and confirm appointments, meetings, and calls for the team 📅
  • Follow up with clients, sponsors, exhibitors, and vendors via email, phone, and messaging 📧📞
  • Draft and send professional emails in both English and Spanish ✉️
  • Organize the daily agenda and priorities of the Director 🗓️
  • Maintain databases, tracking sheets, and team files with accuracy 🗃️
  • Support pre-event logistics, coordinating with exhibitors, speakers, and vendors 🎤🤝
  • Answer and screen incoming calls and emails, resolving issues on first contact 📞✉️
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose effective solutions 🚧
  • Provide general administrative support across the office 🖇️
  • Manage the multi-line phone system, maintaining professional etiquette in both English and Spanish 📞
  • Support basic invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor follow-up 💰
  • Help organize records for event expenses, vendor agreements, and correspondence 📂

Requirements

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) — a non-negotiable 🗣️🌎
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in administrative, executive assistance, coordination, or customer service roles
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Excellent professional writing skills in both languages ✍️
  • Proven ability to multitask accurately while maintaining attention to detail
  • Organized, proactive, with sound judgment for daily decisions
  • Authorized to work in the United States ✅
  • Available to work on-site in Laurel, MD 🏢

Nice to Have

  • Experience in events, trade shows, or the construction industry 🏗️
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Experience working with small, fast-growing teams
  • Comfort with tools like Canva, Asana, Trello, or similar
  • Basic invoicing knowledge with QuickBooks
