About the Role

Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly, staying up-to-date with product features, and maintaining the high standards of our products and store environment. 🎨

Key Responsibilities

  • 😊 Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • 🤝 Assist customers both in person and over the phone by identifying needs and suggesting appropriate products and services
  • 🛠️ Build trusted relationships with wholesale and retail customers
  • 💳 Process sales transactions accurately following store policies
  • 🎯 Meet or exceed sales goals on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis
  • 📁 Maintain precise work order files and documentation
  • 🧰 Pull products from sales floor or warehouse as needed
  • 🎨 Tint and mix products according to customer specifications
  • 📦 Stock shelves and set up attractive displays
  • 🧼 Clean and maintain store equipment
  • 🚚 Load, unload, and assist with deliveries
  • 🏪 Keep assigned areas in-stock and presentable
  • 📚 Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and discuss options with customers
  • 🔄 Follow inventory control procedures
  • 💡 Suggest ways to improve sales performance

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 🔞 Must be at least 18 years old
  • 📝 Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
  • 🗣️ Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate fluently in English and Spanish
  • 🚗 Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • 🏋️‍♂️ Capable of retrieving, lifting (up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodations
  • 🕒 Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • 🎓 High School diploma or GED
  • 🕐 At least 1 year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
  • 🎨 Previous experience selling paint and related products
  • 🔧 Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
