About the Role

Customer Service Specialists collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction 😊
• Assisting customers in person and over the phone to identify their needs
• Building trust-based relationships with customers
• Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals 🎯
• Maintaining precise work order files and stock displays
• Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Mixing and tinting products to customer specifications
• Stocking shelves, setting up displays, and cleaning store equipment
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks, and assisting with deliveries as needed 🚚
• Ensuring the upkeep and presentability of designated areas
• Staying informed on product offerings to advise customers effectively
• Suggesting sales improvements and best practices

Position Details

This full-time role requires working at stores within a 10-mile radius of:

8327 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Starting Salary: $18.50 per hour 💰

Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to various store assets. A criminal history review is conducted to safeguard our operations and community.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English & Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as scheduled

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles
• Previous experience selling paint or related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
